Leadership for Our Future Impact

Dear Friends and Supporters,
As we reach our milestone 25th Anniversary, our commitment to supporting and expanding our purposeful relationships with communities throughout Montgomery County is unwavering. Our networks and the capabilities of the individuals and groups within them are continuously growing, both in size and scope. Our closely held values that have guided us for so long remain key to our work and our relationships. Our staff is strong, and our board is dedicated to continuing our work into the future.

Change is a part of our everyday lives and Impact has developed resilience and the ability to thrive based on the strength of relationships and the depth of our commitments. Chris Beard, who has served as Executive Director, is no longer with Impact and we wish him well in his next endeavors.  Valerie Salazar, our Director of Programs and Strategic Alignment, and Renée Katz, our Director of Finance and Grants, will be serving as Acting Co-Executive Directors to ensure that our programs remain focused on our communities and reflect the values we hold.

We are excited for next week’s celebration of the communities who are making a difference in Montgomery County and grateful to be part of building our shared future together for the years to come.
