Online Film & Discussion: Immigration Nation

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and building on the theme of cross-racial solidarity from our recent “Building a Multi-Racial Movement” webinar, IMPACT is hosting an online viewing and discussion of episode 1 of the docu-series Immigration Nation.
Time magazine describes the Netflix series as “the most important TV show you’ll see in 2020.”
Immigration Nation provides a deep look at the state of U.S. immigration, utilizing unprecedented access to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations and moving portraits of immigrants. We will be viewing episode 1 which focuses on the expanded role of ICE under the current administration. The 60-minute episode will be shown with Spanish subtitles and will be followed by a facilitated discussion.
