Prepare to be inspired during IMPACT’s December online film and discussion event! As we are nearing the winter solstice, often held as a time for rest and reflection, we’re gathering to watch and talk about the documentary “American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs.”

This award-winning film was 12 years in the making and follows renowned Chinese American activist, author, and philosopher Grace Lee Boggs as she recounts her life in movement work from labor to civil rights, to Black Power, feminism, the Asian American and environmental justice movements and beyond. The documentary explores the profound impact of rest, reflection, and conversation on Grace’s evolving beliefs about and approaches to social change. During what is a time for introspection for many, we invite you to join us to learn more about the American Revolutionary who gave us the gem: “We must change ourselves in order to change the world.”
