We are extending the nomination deadline for the Momentum Awards to Wednesday, February 18, 2015.

  • Do you know someone creating a welcoming environment for newcomers to the community – at a school, through a church, or above and beyond in their work? This would be a GREAT person to nominate for the Social Momentum Award.
  • Are there people or groups you know of that are making the community you live in better – improved lighting, sidewalks, crosswalks, speed bumps, parks, etc.? These would be wonderful candidates for the Civic Momentum Award.
  • Have you encountered improved economic opportunities because of someone or some group’s special efforts? Nominate them for the Economic Momentum Award.

Nominating is easy! Just answer four simple questions. You can find the Guidelines and Nomination form here. If you would like a Word version of the nomination form, contact Elizabeth McMeekin at 301-298-5117
